Frequently Asked Questions

What is EBA?

Emporia Basketball Academy was formed in conjunction with Emporia High Boys and Girls Basketball programs to organize and coordinate the development of basketball skills for boys and girls in and around the Emporia area. The EBA is committed to programs to hone these skills for youth of all ages at all levels of play. EBA also wants to provide players with the opportunity to compete in local and regional tournaments while stressing the importance of sportsmanship, work ethic, character and education. At EBA, we seek to develop relationships within the community to foster a healthy learning environment both on and off the basketball court.

Why should my child participate?

If there are enough kids in certain age groups, travel teams may form, although will not be required or guaranteed.

What if my child can’t attend every time?

We want them there as often as possible, but understand there are other obligations and conflicts.
Come as much as you can.
